This Universal Card Deck (UCD) has sixty cards (six suits of ten cards each). All ten cards in each suit are ranked in the following order: Galaxy, Sun, Moon, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
The most significant and unique characteristic of the Universal Card Deck is that it is a 6-suited, RANKED deck. Not only are the cards ranked within each suit, the six suits themselves are ranked. The six suits E (Earth), J (Jupiter), M (Mars), N (Neptune), S (Saturn), and V (Venus) are ranked in alphabetical order from highest to lowest (the suit rankings are shown vertically on the side of each card). In addition, Earth, Jupiter, and Mars are grouped together as primary suits, and Neptune, Saturn, and Venus are grouped together as secondary suits. All six suits are of a different color to enhance players’ ability to distinguish among them: Earth (Blue), Jupiter (Yellow), Mars (Red), Neptune (Purple), Saturn (Orange), and Venus (Green).
The following displays the ranking of all sixty cards from highest to lowest:
